Our Story

We, Original Builders Construction Group (OBCG) began in 2016 with the goal of becoming a premier general contractor in the greater Lafayette area. We realized that a general contractor who cares about their clients and wants to create a space not only we are proud of; but the client as well, was what we strived to be.

We wanted to create a process that went from ideation to a dream come true. Whether that’s building your dream home, adding on a beautiful master suite, or renovating a home and bringing a space back to life. From start to finish, we strive to have clear and concise communication while making the process a pleasant experience.

 
 
 
 

Our Team

Our commitment to quality starts with our people. We began to put together a team of project managers, carpenters and apprentices that believe in doing only the best work. We built relationships with our architects and designers, and set out on a mission to keep craft alive. We engage our whole team throughout the project to make sure our commitment to quality is met at every level.

Our range of staff allows us to focus on the smallest of details, while always looking at the bigger picture. We work closely with a team of knowledgeable and trustworthy subcontractors throughout a project. These subcontractors will be introduced as they are needed on your project.
